Official Xbox Magazine (OXM) Demo Disc #57 was released alongside Issue 57 of the magazine in April 2006 (bearing the cover date of May 2006). Headlined by major spring action releases, the US/North American disc featured interactive playable original Xbox game demos across stealth action, tactical FPS combat, arcade racing, and action-adventure: Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent (stealth action) Far Cry Instincts Evolution (tropical open-world action FPS) Tomb Raider: Legend (action-adventure series revival) OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast (arcade racing) Hummer Badlands (off-road arcade racing) In addition to interactive gameplay, the hybrid disc included offline backward-compatibility emulation updates for Xbox 360 owners, DLC game saves, and media features. High-definition 720p/1080i video previews featured early looks at upcoming Xbox 360 titles, including Crackdown, Too Human, Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway, and Prey, alongside OXM's regular Top Plays segment.
