Spelunker

Spelunker is a platform game developed by Timothy G. Martin of MicroGraphicImage and published for Atari 8-bit computers in 1983. It is set in a cave, with the player starting at the cave's entrance at the top. The objective is to get to the treasure at the bottom. Spelunker was ported to the Commodore 64, then re-released by Broderbund in 1984, with European publishing rights licensed to Ariolasoft. It was released as an arcade video game in 1985, on the Nintendo Entertainment System on December 7, 1985 in Japan and September 1987 in North America, and MSX in 1986.
