PlayStation 4

1 TB version of the CUH-1200 chassis. In Japan the 1 TB model arrived on 2015-12-03 (CUH-1200BB01); the Japanese Call of Duty: Black Ops III Limited Edition pack (2015-11-06, JPY 45,980 + tax) was the first 1 TB PS4 sold in Japan. Japanese launch price taken from press coverage, not from a Sony page. PS4 model codes: CUH-<generation><region><capacity letter>. The last two digits before the letter are the market (00 Japan, 01 and later 15 US/Canada, 02 Australia/New Zealand, 03 UK/Ireland, 04 and later 16 Europe, 06 Asia); the letter is the HDD size (A = 500 GB, B = 1 TB, C = 2 TB). Japanese retail boxes add a two-character colour suffix (B01 Jet Black, B02 Glacier White). Sony has never published this scheme as a list: the individual codes come from retail boxes, manuals and psdevwiki page titles, so regional_codes are confidence M even on records that are otherwise H.
