This section gathers consoles and computers from Bandai. The Bandai Super Vision 8000, also known as the TV Jack 8000, came out in 1979: a second-generation console that connects directly to a TV and was the last of the Bandai TV Jack series.
Next come the Bandai RX-78, an 8-bit microcomputer of July 1983 named after the Gundam RX-78-2 and sold with BASIC and a dozen games, the Playdia (23 September 1994), a fifth-generation console for young children released only in Japan, and the Pippin: ATMARK in Japan and @WORLD for North America and Europe, a platform designed by Apple. Accessories include the Playdia infrared joypad, its only official controller, and the corded AppleJack gamepad that came with the Pippin.
