We don’t make things up.Dendy (Russian: Де́нди) is a series of home video game consoles that were unofficial hardware clones of Nintendo's third-generation Family Computer system. Released on 17 December 1992, Dendy consoles were manufactured in Taiwan using Chinese components on behalf of the Russian company Steepler. These consoles were primarily sold in Russia. Over time, production expanded to include assembly at the Chinese Subor factory and the Russian Tensor factory in Dubna, Moscow Oblast. The Dendy consoles were based on Japanese hardware designs and cartridge formats, which differed slightly from their American counterparts.

Бюджетная линия «для детей младшего возраста»; корпус и геймпады скопированы с Famicom; на коробке мотогонщик Карлос Кардус, оформление коробок - Рустем Адагамов. Коммерсантъ 14.04.1993 анонсировал Junior с несъёмным джойстиком и упрощённым световым пистолетом и 6-месячной гарантией; вышедшая Junior имела отсоединяемые геймпады (подпись фото в ru/en Wikipedia) - план и серия расходятся. Выход PAL-изображения с NTSC-частотой CPU (ru Wikipedia, без источника). Оригинал: 15-pin разъёмы (подделки - 9-pin и отдельный порт пистолета). В 1994 часть сборки на заводе «Тензор» (Дубна), затем там гарантийный ремонт (до 3-4 тыс. консолей в месяц, DTF 2021). Торговая марка Dendy Junior сейчас зарегистрирована на ИП П. В. Баскакова (NewGame/DVTech) - см. dendy-junior-newgame.
