Mega Drive clones
Clones · 11 models · 2 variants
This section gathers clones and clone-like machines compatible with Sega's 16-bit console. The catalog runs from the Dendy Pro 16-Bit (1994) and the Power Pegasus (1995, a small run) to the AtGames Sega Firecore (2009) and the AtGames Genesis Classic / Mega Drive Flashback family (from 2010).
Other entries include the Sega MD IV and MD X, the Sega Magistr Drive 5, the Simba 268, educational keyboard computers such as the Bakalavr and Magistr + FD, pirate copies of the Mega Drive sold in Poland in 1993 to 1994, and the Mega Drive Flashback HD, sold through Lidl in Poland in 2019. The Power Pegasus kit included a controller and one licensed game, which made it dearer than ordinary clones.
