НЕ клон Game Boy - отдельное семейство карманных ЖК-игр в стиле «Тетрис» с матричным экраном 10×20 точек (по возможностям близко к оригинальному Tetris на Game Boy, но аппаратно не является его клоном). По en-Wikipedia (Handheld electronic game) возникло в Китае и России в начале 1990-х; подавляющее большинство заявленных «9999 in 1» вариаций на деле являются лишь разными настройками скорости и сложности одной и той же игры. Коммерсантъ (Власть, 02.08.1994) описывает такую «игрушку типа Тетрис со встроенными играми» по средней цене 30 тыс. руб. в Москве. segadreamcast.ru называет их обобщённо «Тетрисы» отдельной товарной категорией наравне с картриджными приставками.
