Description
Alien Assault II is set in a human outpost overrun by hostile alien creatures. A lone soldier is deployed into the base to clear infested corridors and reach a teleporter that leads to the next sector. Alien Assault II is a top-down shooter in which the player navigates a maze of narrow corridors filled with alien enemies.

The soldier begins with a machine gun, while additional weapons and equipment can be purchased at computer terminals using credits found during play. Terminals also display the current map, statistics, and various control functions such as turning off lights or reversing one-way floor tiles. Progression through each of the game’s four levels requires locating keycards to open locked doors, collecting ammunition and medikits, and reaching the teleporter that ends the stage. Aliens attack on sight, depleting the player’s health, and supplies are limited, requiring careful use of resources while moving through the base.
