The game runs in a DOS emulator: keyboard and mouse work like on an old PC, each game has its own layout (see the hints in the game). There are no on-screen buttons on a phone.

First click the game screen once: after that the keys go to the game, not the page. To scroll the page again, click outside the game window. If the game does not respond, click the game screen again.

The game runs from the Internet Archive site in their emulator; there are no game files on our servers. We show it so you can get to know it; the rights to the game belong to the rights holders. The built-in player has no volume control: if there is no sound or you need to adjust it, open the game page on Internet Archive, which has sound and full-screen buttons. Description

"Bird Brain," developed by the staff of Emerald Valley Publishing, was published as part of their "Home Computer Magazine." In this game, you control a hungry tropical bird searching for food while taking a break from brooding on her eggs. The objective is to catch a fish swimming in the river below.

The bird's movement is controlled by flapping its wings, similar to the game mechanics in "Joust," with additional momentum control to the right or left. Precise movements are crucial, as missteps can lead to the bird falling into the water or being swept away by waves. After catching a fish, it must be returned to the nest within a set time limit, or the bird will die. Performance is timed, and faster completions result in higher scores. The game's difficulty increases by speeding up the action and making the bird harder to control.
