The game runs in a DOS emulator: keyboard and mouse work like on an old PC, each game has its own layout (see the hints in the game). There are no on-screen buttons on a phone.
First click the game screen once: after that the keys go to the game, not the page. To scroll the page again, click outside the game window. If the game does not respond, click the game screen again.
The game runs from the Internet Archive site in their emulator; there are no game files on our servers. We show it so you can get to know it; the rights to the game belong to the rights holders. The built-in player has no volume control: if there is no sound or you need to adjust it, open the game page on Internet Archive, which has sound and full-screen buttons. Description
Bomb Jack is an unofficial platform game based on the 1984 arcade game of the same name. The player takes the role of Jack, a superhero who travels through a series of single-screen stages set against backgrounds inspired by famous landmarks. Each stage is filled with bombs that must be collected while hostile creatures patrol the playfield.

Bomb Jack recreates the gameplay of the original arcade game. Each level is cleared by collecting every bomb on the screen while avoiding enemies that move in distinct patterns. Jack can run, perform high jumps and alter his movement while airborne, allowing him to reach bombs placed both on platforms and in open space. Collecting bombs in the order they light up awards additional points, while bonus items periodically appear to provide score multipliers, extra lives or temporarily turn enemies into collectible bonus items. The game consists of fixed-screen stages that increase in difficulty as enemy speed and behaviour become more challenging.
