The game runs in a DOS emulator: keyboard and mouse work like on an old PC, each game has its own layout (see the hints in the game). There are no on-screen buttons on a phone.
First click the game screen once: after that the keys go to the game, not the page. To scroll the page again, click outside the game window. If the game does not respond, click the game screen again.
The game runs from the Internet Archive site in their emulator; there are no game files on our servers. We show it so you can get to know it; the rights to the game belong to the rights holders. The built-in player has no volume control: if there is no sound or you need to adjust it, open the game page on Internet Archive, which has sound and full-screen buttons. Why
There’s no units produced with a source and not enough listings. We don’t make things up.
Description
Despite the name, this game is not about the historical crusades. The scenarios in Crusade are fully fictional and in the campaign you spend your time conquering hostile castles. The graphics are the standard look of round-based tactical games: A map with hexagonal fields. You can use 15 different units, from combat troops to magicians and spies.

Other possibilities are ships or even dragons, which have a better attack range than regular troops. In combat it is not only crucial to have good attack and defend values - the mere mass is important too. That's why you can group up to 50 soldiers together. Additional to the combat you have to ensure of the supply chain with corn by conquering villages and farms or your soldiers will die of hunger instead of by the sword. In the options you can change several settings to spice up the game. The game features two editors to change the provided missions and create your own.
