The game runs in a DOS emulator: keyboard and mouse work like on an old PC, each game has its own layout (see the hints in the game). There are no on-screen buttons on a phone.
First click the game screen once: after that the keys go to the game, not the page. To scroll the page again, click outside the game window. If the game does not respond, click the game screen again.
The game runs from the Internet Archive site in their emulator; there are no game files on our servers. We show it so you can get to know it; the rights to the game belong to the rights holders. The built-in player has no volume control: if there is no sound or you need to adjust it, open the game page on Internet Archive, which has sound and full-screen buttons. Description
"Skate or Die!" is a skateboarding game that was first released by Electronic Arts in 1987 for the Commodore 64. As EA's first internally developed title, it was created to capitalize on the success of the Epyx sports games, with inspiration for the game's concept coming from the Atari arcade game "720°".

The game allows up to eight players to compete in a series of five different skateboarding events: freestyle ramp, high jump, a downhill race, a downhill jam, and a pool joust. Each event has its own unique challenges and objectives. The game was a commercial success, selling over 100,000 copies, and was ported to a variety of other systems including the Apple IIGS, MS-DOS, and the NES. The game's success led to a winter-themed sequel called "Ski or Die,".
