Atari · 2 models · 112 variants · 37 accessories · 695 games

The Atari 2600, originally the Atari Video Computer System (VCS), is a home console from Atari, Inc., released around September 1977. It popularized microprocessor-based hardware and games stored on swappable ROM cartridges.

The catalog separates the early body styles by switch count and materials: the Heavy Sixer (thick polystyrene case with six front switches, built in Sunnyvale), the 1978 Light Sixer (production moved to Taiwan), the four-switch woodgrain model of 1980 and the all-black Vader of 1982, which was officially rebranded Atari 2600. It also lists the Sears Video Arcade and Video Arcade II, the 1986 2600 Jr. styled after the Atari 7800 with several logo variants, and the Japan-only Atari 2800.

Accessories in the catalog include the CX10 and CX40 joysticks, the CX30 paddles, the Driving Controller and the Trak-Ball CX22.
