The Atari XEGS (XE Game System) is the console-style redesign of the Atari 65XE computer, released in late 1987 at US$159; the basic set has a CX40 joystick and the deluxe set adds a keyboard and XG-1 light gun. About 100,000 units sold in the 1987 holiday season.
