Details from sources

Industrial redesign of the Atari 65XE 8-bit home computer sold as a games console; ~100,000 units moved during the 1987 Christmas launch window (not a lifetime total). The brief's folder list has no dedicated XEGS folder, so its full model record is kept in atari/7800/models.json (closest same-era Tramiel-Atari home hardware) alongside this timeline entry.
