Hana Tāka Daka!? is a 1991 horizontal-scrolling shoot 'em up video game developed by Natsume and published by Taito for the PC Engine. It was released in Japan on August 9, 1991. The player controls a flying tengu who sets out to rescue a fox named Inari from a group of tanuki. In addition to conventional shooting mechanics, the game features a chargeable weapon, a health system that changes the size of the player character, branching stage routes, hidden bonus areas and collectible pieces of a magical seal.
