The game was first released in Japan on February 24, 2005, with releases in Europe, Australia, and North America, following later the same year. Players take on the role of Ashley Mizuki Robbins, a 13-year-old girl, as she searches for her father on the fictional Blood Edward Island. Gameplay revolves using the DS touchscreen or D-pad to solve puzzles. Another Code received "mixed or average" critic reviews, according to review aggregation website Metacritic.
