A set of Joy-Con consists of two individual units, each containing an analog stick and an array of buttons. When detached, the pair can be used by a single player, or each Joy-Con can serve as an individual controller. A successor, the Joy-Con 2, serve as the primary controllers for the Nintendo Switch 2.
