Animal Crossing: City Folk, released as Animal Crossing: Let's Go to the City in PAL territories, is a 2008 social simulation game developed and published by Nintendo for the Wii console and the third game in the Animal Crossing series. It is also one of the first games that was re-released as a part of the Nintendo Selects collection in 2011. In City Folk, the player character lives in a rural village populated with anthropomorphic animals, taking part in various activities such as collecting and planting.
