Mario Super Sluggers

Mario Super Sluggers is a 2008 sports video game developed by Bandai Namco and published by Nintendo for the Wii. It is part of the Mario Sports series, and the sequel to Mario Superstar Baseball for the GameCube. The game was released in Japan on June 19, 2008 and North America on August 25, 2008. Like its predecessor, Mario Super Sluggers gameplay sees the player using various Mario series characters of their choosing to compete in games of baseball. Alongside traditional play, the game features an adventure mode where players must recruit members of a baseball team in order to defeat Bowser Jr. and Bowser.
