The game runs in a DOS emulator: keyboard and mouse work like on an old PC, each game has its own layout (see the hints in the game). There are no on-screen buttons on a phone.

First click the game screen once: after that the keys go to the game, not the page. To scroll the page again, click outside the game window. If the game does not respond, click the game screen again.

The game runs from the Internet Archive site in their emulator; there are no game files on our servers. We show it so you can get to know it; the rights to the game belong to the rights holders. The built-in player has no volume control: if there is no sound or you need to adjust it, open the game page on Internet Archive, which has sound and full-screen buttons. Description

Alpine Tram Ride is an educational game designed to teach logic and problem solving. The game presents the player with a tram containing four cars; each car is occupied by one of ten animals, and the player's goal is to determine which animal is in which tram car.

On each turn the player selects four animals and places them in the tram cars; the game will indicate whether any chosen animals are correct and if any are placed in the correct location. Since the game doesn't indicate which of the four chosen animals are correct the player needs to figure this out. The game ends when the player chooses the correct four animals and places them in the right location. The game keeps track of how many turns are taken, the goal is to solve the puzzle in as few turns as possible.
