The game runs in a DOS emulator: keyboard and mouse work like on an old PC, each game has its own layout (see the hints in the game). There are no on-screen buttons on a phone.

First click the game screen once: after that the keys go to the game, not the page. To scroll the page again, click outside the game window. If the game does not respond, click the game screen again.

The game runs from the Internet Archive site in their emulator; there are no game files on our servers. We show it so you can get to know it; the rights to the game belong to the rights holders. The built-in player has no volume control: if there is no sound or you need to adjust it, open the game page on Internet Archive, which has sound and full-screen buttons. Description

Battle Charge is an abstract two-player board game in which opposing sides compete on a shared grid using sets of colored tokens. Each player controls a collection of pieces and a single king, with the goal of capturing the opposing king through tactical use of charged tokens.

The game is played on a 16×10 grid divided between two players, each starting with an equal number of tokens. Players interact by selecting a token and dragging the mouse to launch it across the board, setting both direction and speed. When tokens collide, they may exchange positions or combine, allowing players to create charged pieces with enhanced behaviors. Charged tokens can exist at multiple charge levels and influence movement and interactions during later turns, including altering trajectories of nearby pieces and affecting opposing tokens in different ways. Players alternate moves by agreement, using positioning, timing, and charging mechanics to create an opportunity to capture the opponent’s king and end the game.
