The game runs in a DOS emulator: keyboard and mouse work like on an old PC, each game has its own layout (see the hints in the game). There are no on-screen buttons on a phone.
First click the game screen once: after that the keys go to the game, not the page. To scroll the page again, click outside the game window. If the game does not respond, click the game screen again.
The game runs from the Internet Archive site in their emulator; there are no game files on our servers. We show it so you can get to know it; the rights to the game belong to the rights holders. The built-in player has no volume control: if there is no sound or you need to adjust it, open the game page on Internet Archive, which has sound and full-screen buttons. Description
In Caverns of Gink you control Prof. George Jumpalot on a quest to find a sacred statue left by the Ginkians, an ancient tribe of headhunters. The statue is somewhere in a large cave; you will need to explore the entire cave in order to find it. The cave consists of numerous red platforms; as you walk over each platform, the color changes to brown.

When all of the platforms have been changed to brown the level is complete. The Ginkians are still around, however! They are trying to stop you from your goal by constantly shooting green arrows. This are poisonous and will cause you to lose a life if hit; if hit too many times the game is over. Prof. George Jumpalot can move left, right, jump, or fall in order to reach all of the platforms and dodge the arrows.
