The basic game is an adventure in which you see the world through the eyes of the protagonist. You move from screen to screen to find items, talk to the crew in a multiple choice dialogue and solve puzzles to find and eliminate the evil. Always with you is the computer MAX that controls the whole ship. As you move through the Tower he maps all the different levels and also helps you with the riddles and keeps you on the right track. Nach den Ereignissen in Vision bricht der Rockfellow Tower, ein autarkes Generationsraumschiff zur Erforschung des tiefen Weltraums, zu einer Reise ins Unbekannte auf. Doch als die Besatzung in den Schweif eines Kometen eintaucht und das Schiff auf Lichtgeschwindigkeit beschleunigt, stellt sie fest, dass sich etwas an Bord befindet, das um jeden Preis verhindern will, dass sie ihre Mission erfolgreich abschließen. Das Grundspiel ist ein Adventure, in dem man die Welt durch die Augen der Hauptfigur sieht. Man bewegt sich von Bildschirm zu Bildschirm, sammelt Gegenstände, führt Multiple-Choice-Dialoge mit der Crew und löst Rätsel, um das Böse aufzuspüren und auszuschalten. Stets an deiner Seite ist der Computer Max, der das gesamte Schiff steuert. Während man den Tower erkundet, kartiert Max alle Ebenen, hilft bei den Rätseln und sorgt dafür, dass man auf dem richtigen Weg bleibt. Um das Ganze etwas aufzupeppen, gibt es im Spiel zudem ein paar actionlastige Minispiele.
