Game Gear rebranded after the line moved to Sega's Toy division in March 1996; black body printed with Akira Yuki from the Virtua Fighter anime; aimed at younger children, character games (Doraemon, Kaitou Saint Tail, G-Sonic). Hardware identical to Game Gear. Launch set included a Gear-to-Gear (VS) cable during a campaign (ja.wikipedia). Code HGG-3224 per Sega Retro JP page; the Turkish Kids Gear set (distributor Aral) is listed there with console code HGG-3223 - unresolved. Also sold in Singapore/Malaysia/Brunei (Wywy) and Turkey (Aral) per Sega Retro.
