Description

The JVC X'Eye was the North American version of the Wondermega, a Genesis plus Sega CD combo. It launched in 1994 at roughly US$500 and sold poorly because of its high price.

Details from sources

North American Genesis + Sega CD combo by JVC based on the Wondermega M2: wired 3-button JVC-logo pad instead of infrared, boot logo 'X' instead of 'W', Genesis-2-style A/V out and a dedicated RF unit port; early units keep S-video, later ones drop it; JVC offered a 32X compatibility modification (ja.wikipedia Mega-CD).
