Box contents: console, Control Pad, DIN plug cord, AC adapter, manual (sega.jp). Early box: line drawing of the console with a large 'MD' mark; later box back advertises Mega Modem / Mega-CD (sega.jp). Initial production sold out within two days (New Computer Express via en.wikipedia).
