Announced on PlayStation.Blog 2017-06-06 as a limited edition together with Silver; on sale from 2017-06-28 (2017-06-15 in the UAE), bundled with two matching controllers. Sony gave no price, no production figure and no model code; the blog post says 500 GB while several retail listings show 1 TB - conflict unresolved. Not sold in Japan (the Japanese Gold/Silver products were HDD bay covers HBC-CV01/G and /S).
