MagicGate-encrypted 8 MB card; its microcontroller carries 4 KB of embedded FeRAM (ferroelectric RAM) made by Toshiba on a 500nm CMOS process - an early commercial use of FeRAM. Official Sony cards were sold only at 8 MB; Sony licensed third party Katana to make 16/32 MB cards carrying the PS2/MagicGate marks. Colours (per en Wikipedia, not individually dated here): black, satin silver, pink, crimson red, ocean blue, emerald, plus additional Japan-exclusive colours.
