Up to 4 controllers/memory cards per port, 8 with two Multitaps. SCPH-10090 fits the fat (SCPH-1x000-5x000) consoles; the slim SCPH-70000-90000 series instead needs SCPH-70120, which supports both PS1 and PS2 software (the PS1-era SCPH-1070 Multitap only works with PS1 titles on any PS2).
