Atari · 1 model · 24 variants · 17 accessories · 139 games

The Atari Lynx is a fourth-generation handheld from Atari Corporation. It was released in North America in September 1989 and in Europe and Japan in 1990, and it was the first handheld game console with a colour liquid-crystal display.

The catalog has two revisions. The Lynx I has a 3.5-inch backlit colour LCD, a monaural headphone jack and a larger, heavier case. The 1991 Lynx II is smaller and lighter, with a clearer backlit screen that has a power-save option, and rubber hand grips. Accessories include the ComLynx cable, which can chain up to eight units together.
