Game Boy Advance

The Game Boy Advance (AGB-001) is Nintendo's 32-bit handheld of the sixth generation. It was released in Japan on 21 March 2001 and in North America and Europe in June 2001. It also runs Game Boy and Game Boy Color cartridges.

The catalog has five models: the original GBA, the Game Boy Advance SP (AGS-001, 2003, front-lit), its backlit AGS-101 revision (2005), the Game Boy Micro (OXY-001, 2005) and the Game Boy Player (DOL-017) for GameCube. There are many colours, some sold in only one region, and shops such as Daiei, Jusco and Toys R Us Japan ordered their own shells. Accessories include the Card e-Reader, the Play-Yan and the Battle Network chip gates.

Matching colours carry different names in different regions (Milky Blue in Japan, Glacier in the West), so tell them apart by the region label. The first Card e-Reader cannot read e+ cards.
