Made for the opening of Pokemon Center New York (2001-11-16). According to Nintendo Online Magazine (Dec 2001) it could also be bought at Pokemon Centers in Japan. Prices come from the archived pokemoncenter.com online shop (Dec 2001). Conflicting claim: Bulbapedia's GBA page says $69.99, later $59.99, and a nationwide release in Sep/Oct 2002; no other source confirms this.
