Description

Color TV-Game 6 is Nintendo's first home video game system, a dedicated console with six Pong-style game variations, built by Nintendo R&D2 together with Mitsubishi Electric. It went on sale in Japan on 1 June 1977 at JPY 9,800.

6 Pong variants; same board as TV-Game 15 with 9 game switches omitted. Made with Mitsubishi Electric. Original runs on batteries or separately sold AC adapter; improved cream-white version removed the adapter jack (en/ja Wikipedia). Model codes per lucklessheaven (CTG-6S original, CTG-6V improved); lucklessheaven says CTG-6S is battery-only, which conflicts with Wikipedia.
