It was released only in Japan in July 1989. A port to the X68000 titled Cueb Runner was released in 1990. Micronet developed ports of the game for the Sega Genesis and Game Gear under the title Junction; these versions were released outside Japan in 1990. Hamster Corporation released the arcade version outside Japan for the first time as part of their Arcade Archives series for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in May 2024.
