Manufactured by Logitech ("Logicool" in Japan) at launch, later units by Namtai/Chicony; sold under the Sony/PlayStation EyeToy brand throughout. Also usable on PlayStation 3. Release dates: EU 2003-07-04, NA 2003-11-04, JP 2004-02-11 (per timeline.json's 'eyetoy' entry).
