Official Xbox Magazine (OXM) Demo Disc #44 was released alongside Issue 44 of the magazine in April 2005 (bearing the cover date of May 2005). Highlighting key mid-spring 2005 releases, the disc was headlined by id Software's flagship survival-horror FPS Doom 3, alongside interactive playable game demos across horror, platforming, and action: Doom 3 (survival-horror FPS) Psychonauts (cult-classic 3D platformer) Darkwatch: Curse of the West (gothic wild-west horror FPS) Pariah (sci-fi first-person shooter) In addition to interactive gameplay, the disc featured downloadable content (DLC) saves and extra media features.
