Red and white/beige two-tone in the colours of the Famicom console (not the gold-trimmed controller scheme of the 2003 prize model). Sold in a small sky-blue box with Super Mario sprites. AGS-001 tells: label on the underside reads AGS-001; frontlit screen looks light grey when switched off; small button between the hinges toggles the front light on/off (sun icon).

Released alongside the Famicom Mini series. Official product code AGS-S-FMK(JPN), date 2004-02-14 on Nintendo JP page; ja.wikipedia says it was sold until about summer 2004. Conflict: IGN (2004-06-04) says it was 'released in March' with the first Famicom Mini batch, while Nintendo JP and Dengeki give 2004-02-14.
