Pale pearlescent light-blue shell (lighter than Azurite/Cobalt). AGS-001 tells: label on the underside reads AGS-001; frontlit screen looks light grey when switched off; small button between the hinges toggles the front light on/off (sun icon).

JP launch price 12,500 yen (tax excl.); price cut 2004-09-16 to 9,800 yen per ja.wikipedia (Nintendo's archived page shows 9,333 yen tax excl.). Announced 2003-08-20/21 together with Pearl Pink (NWR, ja.wikipedia citing Famitsu).
